About Us

Lockport Love was founded in 2014 by the Lockport Police Department, in partnership with the Lockport community, with one mission in mind: to be neighbors helping neighbors in times of need.

Throughout the year, we raise funds and accept donations to provide meaningful assistance to families facing unexpected hardships, emergencies, or crises. Whether due to sudden medical challenges, loss of income, or other unforeseen circumstances, we are here to bring hope and relief when it matters most.

To support Lockport residents during their toughest times by offering compassion, care, and community-driven assistance — ensuring no family feels alone in hardship.

Holiday Gift Program

Each year, Lockport Love proudly sponsors around 15 families during the holiday season. With the help of generous donors and volunteers, we purchase gifts for children and deliver them in a way that celebrates our community spirit!

Santa arrives with an escort of police cars and firetrucks, surrounded by dozens of volunteers singing Christmas carols and spreading joy. This Gift Parade has become a cherished tradition — not only for the families receiving gifts, but also for the community members who come together to make it possible.
